Both students have also secured places at leading universities in the United States. Amisha will study Public Policy and Data Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Meanwhile, Varun will pursue Mathematics at the University of California, Berkeley.
Their results place them among the global top performers for the May 2026 examination session. Furthermore, Greenwood High reported strong results across its wider IBDP cohort.
Three students, Anvita Reddy Guddeti, Nidhi Mittal and Sanay Sridhar, achieved 44 points. Seven more students scored 43 points. In addition, 36 per cent of the IBDP Class of 2026 achieved 40 points or above.
The graduating cohort also received university offers from institutions across the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and Asia. According to the school, students received scholarship offers worth more than US$8 million.
The May 2026 session was also among the largest IB examination sessions worldwide. A total of 194,541 students appeared for the IB Diploma Programme examinations across 157 countries. The reported global average score was 30.45 points, while the pass rate stood at 81.26 per cent.
