VAS Bilingual Summer Camp 2026 has concluded after weeks of learning, exploration and hands-on activities. The VAS summer camp brought together students from Kindergarten to Grade 9 for experiences designed to build knowledge, confidence and practical skills.
Through project-based activities, role play and educational trips, students explored topics beyond the classroom. Meanwhile, the programme gave them opportunities to collaborate, solve problems and learn through real experiences.
For parents, the programme highlights how structured summer activities can combine enjoyment with meaningful learning. Students also returned with new experiences, friendships and memories ahead of the new academic year.
Kindergarten Students Explore City Life
Kindergarten students ended their summer programme with a “City” Fun Friday.
Through interactive games, challenges and role-play, they revisited topics covered during the week. These included buildings, transportation, city planning and urban life.
The activities also supported the development of communication, collaboration and observation skills. Furthermore, role play gave younger learners a chance to explore everyday environments in an engaging way.
Pre 0 Students Create Their Own Teddy Bears
Pre 0 students also took part in a teddy bear workshop at the Kindergarten Hall.
With support from their teachers, the children worked through each stage of creating their own cuddly companion. They stuffed their bears before decorating them with stickers and accessories.
Teachers then completed the final assembly. Each student took home a soft, lightly scented teddy bear as a keepsake from the summer programme.
The activity allowed students to practise creativity and follow a process from beginning to end. As a result, the finished bears also became a reminder of their summer learning experience.
Pre 1 To 3 Students Discover Different Careers
Pre 1, Pre 2 and Pre 3 students visited Vietopia for an immersive career experience.
During the visit, students took on different professional roles. They became doctors, firefighters, chefs and other workers while completing tasks linked to each profession.
Students earned play money through their activities, which they could exchange for gifts. More importantly, the experience introduced young learners to the value of work and different career possibilities.
For younger students, these experiences can make unfamiliar professions easier to understand. They also encourage curiosity and allow children to learn through imaginative play.
Secondary Students Complete NextGen HeriTrek
Students in Grades 5 to 9 completed the four-day, three-night NextGen HeriTrek Vung Tau – Binh Chau journey.
As the “Rainbow Warriors”, students explored Binon Cacao Park and learned about the ecosystem of Binh Chau Hot Springs. They also completed adventure challenges at the Binh Chau – Phuoc Buu Nature Reserve.
The trip included an environmental activity as well. Students planted Hopea odorata trees, giving them a practical opportunity to engage with environmental sustainability.
However, the experience extended beyond outdoor activities. Students also explored local culture and history while taking part in team-building challenges.
They worked together on the creative project Local Stories, Global Voice. The journey concluded with a Gala Night, giving students another opportunity to connect and reflect on their shared experiences.
VAS Summer Camp Combines Learning And Experience
The VAS summer camp programme brought together activities that supported different aspects of student development.
Younger students explored everyday themes through play, creativity and role play. Meanwhile, older students experienced outdoor learning, environmental activities and cultural exploration.
The programme also placed emphasis on collaboration. Students worked with classmates during projects, challenges and group activities, helping them practise communication and teamwork in different settings.
For educators, such activities can complement classroom learning by giving students opportunities to apply skills in unfamiliar environments. Additionally, field trips and experiential activities can help students connect learning with real situations.
Students Return With New Experiences
As VAS Bilingual Summer Camp 2026 concludes, students leave with more than memories of their summer break.
The programme gave them opportunities to gain knowledge, practise essential skills and build friendships. Furthermore, the bilingual environment allowed students to learn through activities that combined academic, social and practical experiences.
Ultimately, the summer programme offered students a varied introduction to learning beyond the traditional classroom. They now return to the new academic year with new experiences, stronger connections and positive memories from their summer.
